This Privacy Policy describes how Apycue Intelligence Private Limited collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our platform and services. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
1 · Introduction
This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service. Apycue may change or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time; our use of your data shall be in adherence with the provisions of the policy under which the information was collected.
2 · Scope & Definitions
Account Data: information you provide when registering and using the Service such as your name, email, phone, business name, designation, billing details and other necessary info.
Hotel Data: property information including name, address, room types, amenities, rates, policies, images, and descriptions.
Customer Data: all data you provide or generate within the Service, including Account Data and Hotel Data.
Guest Data: personal information of your hotel guests collected through the Service (e.g., names, contact details, enquiry information). We process Guest Data only as provided in our agreements with our customers and require our customers to comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
3 · Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Service, and information from third parties, as detailed below.
3.1 · Information You Provide
Account information: name, email address, phone number, business name, designation, and billing details. Hotel data: property name, address, room types, amenities, rates, policies, images, and descriptions. Payment information: Apycue does not directly collect or store payment card details — all payments are processed through third-party gateways (Stripe and/or Razorpay). Communications: emails, support tickets, and messages exchanged with us.
3.2 · Information Collected Automatically
Usage data: pages visited, features used, actions taken, session duration, and interaction patterns. Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers, and screen resolution. Log data: server logs, access times, referring URLs, and error reports. Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies and analytics tools to improve the Service experience.
3.3 · Information from Third Parties
We may collect publicly available hotel information from OTA listings, review platforms, and search engines to provide and improve our services (such as digital presence audits and competitive intelligence). We may also receive information from business partners and analytics providers about usage trends.
4 · How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including AI-powered content generation, marketing campaigns, review management, and reservation assistance; process subscription billing; communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support requests; analyze usage patterns to improve the platform and develop new features; generate insights and analytics to help improve your direct booking performance; train and improve our AI models using aggregated and anonymized data (individual hotel data is not shared with other customers); and comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
5 · Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data in the following circumstances: Service providers — we share data with trusted third-party service providers (including cloud hosting on Google Cloud, payment processing via Stripe/Razorpay, and email delivery via AWS SES), bound by confidentiality agreements. White-label partners — if your account is managed through a white-label partner, limited account and hotel data may be shared with that partner as necessary. Affiliates — we may share data with businesses legally part of the same group of companies as Apycue. Legal requirements — we may disclose information when required by law, regulation, court order, or government authority. Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
6 · Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, and regular security reviews. Despite our efforts, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7 · Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account termination, you may request export of your Customer Data within a reasonable period. After such period, data is deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as financial records for tax compliance.
8 · Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights: Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you; Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data; Deletion — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements; Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format; Objection — object to processing of your data for certain purposes.

9 · Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies to understand platform usage. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals.
10 · International Data Transfers
Your data is primarily processed and stored on servers in India. If your data is processed or stored in a jurisdiction outside your country of residence, we will ensure that adequate safeguards are in place in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
11 · Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by hotels and accommodation providers. All account owners must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
12 · Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service at least 15 days before they take effect. The effective date at the top indicates the date of the latest revision.
